Assist in loading/unloading trucks for transfers to stores.Essential Job Functions:Loads and unloads trucks/trailers according to Management directionsStacks boxes and bags on carts for weight verificationStack large items in designated areaPlace furniture in designated areaResponsible for ensuring aisles and walk ways are clean and free from debris.Accurately use a calculator to deduct or add tare weights to loaded carts of products to determine net weightsRecord cart numbers, weights, and unload times on driver route formsComplete Savers Delivery Reports with all required informationDaily count and record on proper form, all stock on hand in warehouse and in trailersChecks forklifts to ensure proper safety and work conditions are in compliance with Savers policies and state laws.Perform other duties as assigned including housekeep of office and restroomsWhat You Have:Working knowledge of OSHA, state and Savers safety regulations and requirementsDemonstrated organization skillsAbility to operate a forkliftAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to multi-task several incoming and outgoing truck loads at any one given timeAbility to create receiving logs and load sheetsAbility to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines with flexibility, and multi-task with minimal directionAbility to be detailed-orientedMinimum Required Education, Training and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentDock or warehouse experience a plusForklift training certificationProper lifting procedures and techniquesPhysical Requirements:Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbsAbility to pull or push a pallet jackAbility to pull or push loaded carts onto scale for weighingAbility to work in a warehouse environment including extreme temperaturesAbility to stand, walk, bend and lift continuously to complete daily tasksFLSA: Non-ExemptTravel: Related to position only within geographical area and essential functions or other areas as assignedWork Type/Location: Varies on geographic area of roleSavers is an E-Verify employer
