Line of Business Human Resources Job Description The Senior Manager, Learning Solutions Advisor acts as a strategic partner and advisor for a portfolio of business or functional groups, accountable to enable the creation, delivery and measurement of comprehensive learning solutions aligned to strategic business priorities. The Senior Manager, Learning Solutions Advisor develops and supports the implementation of learning strategies to build individual, team and organizational effectiveness at TD. This role works in a collaborative fashion with HR partners and business leaders, managing relationships and overall deliverables across multiple phases. It requires critical strategic thinking, and a good balance between understanding TD's Operating Model and program structure and governance; combined with a solid knowledge of performance consulting practices, strong strategy planning, change management, collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills to foster and influence change and implement best practices to drive Company and departmental results. The Senior Manager Specialized Human Resources develops effective policies and programs in a specialized Human Resources unit and acts as a subject matter expert in own area of expertise. Depth & Scope Acts as practice leader and/or top level expert within own specialized area Serves as key contact and the subject matter expert within area of expertise Develops policies and practices that are aligned with overall Human Resources strategy Oversees programs / services / issues that are highly complex, have wide scope / impact, and require broad business knowledge Works closely and effectively with HR partners in the businesses and other specialized areas Understands differing needs of business units / functions and adapts advice within overall strategy and policy Identifies and escalates issues having broad corporate implications / risks Leads a team of Human Resources professionals Ensures business partners and Human Resources are provided with high quality advice and support Shares expert knowledge, provide advice and counsel to business management and Human Resources teams Contributes to special initiatives by representing TDBFG / the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expert Monitors and communicates the effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise Ensures programs and practices continue to meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with Human Resources priorities Develops and manages a team of high quality resources through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management Oversees the development of the departments business plan and monitor actual results Leads and follows-up on action planning to address Employee survey results Ensures integration of other areas of expertise in the development and delivery of programs and policies, as appropriate In partnership with appropriate HR practitioners, develops implementation strategies, anticipating HR issues beyond own area of expertise Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below 10+ Years of related experience In depth knowledge of a specialized Human Resources function Expert communication, facilitation and presentation skills Proven ability to deal with all levels of management Strong Customer Service orientation and ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external clients Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding in the learning and development field An analytical mind with orientation to detail for handling initiatives, projects and programs with minimal direction from management Sound knowledge of using analytical software tools and generative AI tools (CoPilot) to perform daily work A dynamic professional with willingness to take initiative on tasks and projects Advanced knowledge of multiple HR specialties, HR strategy development, HR policy, consulting principles, and banking industry practices and regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret policies and apply standards to complete assignments in a fast-changing environment Customer Accountability Understands and supports the Banks Customer Service Strategy Considers the impact of advice and decisions on the well‑being of the Bank, as well as its customers, its employees and stakeholders Provides the highest level of Customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors or our Customers - WOW at every opportunity Leads, coaches and models quality service delivery at every interaction Supports the ongoing improvement of the partner/Customer experience Employee and Team Accountability Sets appropriate context for the business unit/function to enable optimal performance and alignment to strategy Supports the creation of goals and objectives for the business unit/function.
