Workers' Compensation Associate Full‑time (Missouri Bar required) – no billable hours – Total compensation $115,000–$170,000 plus uncapped origination bonus. Uncapped origination bonus pays one‑third of the firm's fee on every case brought in. Base salary plus quarterly performance bonus. High performers consistently earn above the range. Total comp grows with you – there is no cap. You will handle all aspects of representing clients in their workers' compensation matters — from case opening through each resolution — while providing direction and supervision to non‑attorney staff to ensure full compliance with workers' compensation laws, regulations, and labor codes. What You'll Do Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status throughout their matter. Interact and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients. Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents. Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared by you and your team. Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings. Provide direction and supervision to non‑attorney staff in compliance with all workers' compensation laws and regulations. What We're Looking For Active Missouri Bar license – required. At least one year of workers' compensation experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant litigation background considered. Eligibility to obtain Kansas Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity). Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Committed to providing responsive and compassionate client service. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs – Excel, Word, SharePoint. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
