Role Description The Investment Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in The Woodlands, TX. This position is responsible for handling day-to-day investment operations, including account setup and maintenance, trade processing, cash management, and reconciliation of client accounts. The specialist coordinates with advisors, custodians, and other partners to ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions and resolution of operational issues. The role includes maintaining data integrity in portfolio management systems, preparing reports, and supporting compliance-related tasks. The Investment Operations Specialist also contributes to process improvements, assists with project implementation, and provides clear communication to internal team members regarding operational status and changes. Compensation The salary range for the position is $70,000-90,000 and is eligible for an annual cash bonus. Qualifications Candidates should have their Group Life & Health license, Series 6 or 7, and Series 63, 65, and/or 66. Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting investment data, reconciling accounts, and identifying discrepancies. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with advisors, clients, and custodians and document operational processes clearly. Candidates should possess Sales awareness and client-service orientation to support advisors in delivering a positive and professional client experience. Candidates should possess Operations Management skills for overseeing workflows, ensuring timely processing, and maintaining data accuracy. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to help implement new systems, improve processes, and coordinate operational initiatives. Relevant experience in investment or wealth management operations, including familiarity with custodial platforms and portfolio accounting systems. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
