As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 01:30 PMTue07:00 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the shelter location and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment for residents and staff. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
