Why Drive for BlueLinx: Home every night and weekend, so you can be with your family $29.00 per hour starting pay rate First shift hours Flatbed and Curtain Side trailers, no tarping New safe and reliable equipment Life Insurance 401K Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay What You’ll Deliver: Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports Direct the unloading by customers, when required How You’ll Deliver: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 21 years of age 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years Safe Driving Record Ability to secure loads Ability to work in all weather conditions Our Values With every decision and action, we put people first, keep the future in mind, and work as a team toward shared progress: About BlueLinx: BlueLinx (NYSE: BXC), a leading wholesale distributor of building and industrial products in the United States with over 70k branded and private-label SKUs, and a broad distribution footprint servicing 50 states.
