Collections Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Coordinator to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging and driving related collection efforts to ensure continuous cash flow and reduce delinquent balances. You will act as a key liaison, maintaining robust relationships with group contacts, account executives, brokers, and external collection agencies to support and enforce collection procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging reports and initiate collection efforts to reduce delinquent balances. Partner and maintain relationships with group contacts, account executives, brokers, and collection agencies. Ensure continuous cash flow by actively monitoring accounts and resolving outstanding payment issues. Apply demonstrated negotiation and issue-resolution skills to settle account discrepancies. Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality at all times and strictly adhere to all HIPAA guidelines. Ensure compliance with all internal collection policies, procedures, and guidelines. Required Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience working as a Collections Coordinator role for a healthcare orginization. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and complex formulas. Core Competencies: Experience with the Collections module in Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Word. AI Proficiency: Ability to leverage AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to format spreadsheets and enhance written business communications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities. Highly detail-oriented, flexible, and creative with excellent organization and planning skills. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively while maintaining strict confidentiality. Deep understanding of accounts receivable and collection procedures.
