Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a willingness to float to various units and hospitals as needed. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care and adhering to best practices in nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and assessment in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Float to different units as required based on staffing needs.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing required.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a Compact license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and other relevant credentials required.
- Minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience; 18 months in specialty preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
Work Schedule
- Availability for holidays and every other weekend is required.
- Acceptable work schedules include 36 or 48 hours per week.
This role is a clinical position and involves direct patient interaction. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is Meditech. Scrub color and dress code are solid navy.
