Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health Unit. The ideal candidate will possess psychiatric nursing experience, with a preference for geriatric psychiatric experience and prior medical floor experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in crisis intervention and manage behavioral disturbances.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
