TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Salt Lake City, Utah, 84124!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: - BLS - NIH Must-Have: - Strong medical-surgical nursing skills - Effective communication skills - Flexibility and organization Description: This role is within a mixed medical-surgical unit. The unit has 34 beds and a staff of 60. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Shifts are from 19:00 to 07:00. There is a charge RN on every shift along with RNs and techs. Essential equipment includes bladder scanners, vital sign monitors, vein finders, and electronic medical records. On-call requirements are twice per contract. Weekend shifts are required, with four weekends scheduled per month. Typical procedures performed include Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Candidates are expected to have flexibility and organizational skills. Charge experience is preferred but not required. Candidates will be assessed based on skills listed in the must-have section.
