Role: RN - Emergency Department

• Facility: Sinai - ED (Milwaukee, WI) | 228 Beds | Level IV Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Stroke Center
• Shift: 12-Hour Mid-Shift/Evenings (1100–2300) | 36 hours/week
• Experience: 3 years of fast-paced ED experience required. First-time travelers considered upon review with strong experience.
• Clinical Interview: Yes

The Unit & Ratios

• Unit Size: 35 beds + 6 fast track rooms (Averages 168 patients/day)
• Ratios: 1:4 (Acuity-based for Main ED) | 1:6 for Fast Track
• Patient Types: Neonates to Geriatrics. Heavy mental health population. Trauma (GSW, stabbings, MVC). Note: STEMI and Invasive Neuro are stabilized and shipped out to St. Luke's.
• Support: 24/7 ED Techs (draw blood/glucose), 24/7 Unit Secretary, RT, Physicians, and Mid-Levels. Security is based directly in the ED lobby.

• Requirement: None (N/A)

Rules & Scheduling

• Orientation: One 12-hour shift on the unit.
• Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend. Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (or every other). No on-call requirements.
• Requested Time Off (RTO): Must be sent to Travis Bond for approval.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Scrubs: Any professional color.
• Parking: Free in designated employee areas.
• Tech: EPIC, Alaris pumps, Pyxis.
