About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Projects and Development to oversee and lead all aspects of project stewardship, development management, and services engagement within its military housing portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of leaders in these functions and ensuring that the company's mission of prioritizing the resident experience is upheld. This role demands a high level of expertise in program and project management, asset management, and relationship management, particularly in the context of complex, long-term initiatives and a highly regulated environment. The EVP will be expected to partner with other business leaders to drive operational excellence, participate in business strategy development, and lead financial structuring and capital stewardship activities. Applicants for the EVP position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in development, portfolio, or asset management. The role requires exceptional leadership and team-building skills, a strong technology orientation, and a proven track record in project finance and underwriting large capital transactions. The ideal candidate will have a background in real estate or development, experience with non-traditional assets and distributed sites, and a deep understanding of capital planning and asset management systems. The EVP will also be responsible for talent management, continuous improvement of project and development methodologies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and company policies.
