Occupational Therapists (OT) for Skilled Nursing Facilities

Flagstar Rehab is now staffing Occupational Therapists for the rehab department in state-of-the-art skilled nursing facilities throughout NYC and surrounding areas.

Flagstar Rehab OTs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations, treatments, and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Pay Rate: $46-$48 Hourly (W-2), $57-$60 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Job Duties:

• Provides occupational therapy services to residents by assisting in the assessment and treatment, development and implementation of programs, and related professional in-services.
• Conducts individual, supervised and group treatment as assigned by the occupational therapist and as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitors resident's response to intervention and consults with occupational therapist if modification is indicated.
• Adheres to department and resident schedule and modifies as appropriate for treatment regimen.
• Maintains acceptable resident care rations as determined by the occupational therapist.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:

• Current NYS OT license and registration.
• EMR competence.
• Meets all state and federal requirements for US employment in a nursing facility.
• Malpractice/liability insurance (if applicable).
