It's time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team in Arden Hills, MN. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring accurate completion of client projects throughout the production process. This individual must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to identify variances in printed and inserted output, according to client specifications.Individual will be responsible for most of the day to day paperwork, quality control, and reporting as it relates to individual daily programs. We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of Direct Mail, knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation, security compliance, and postal regulations. This position may also be exposed to PHI information and must treat the materials in accordance to HIPAA regulations.This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.Your Responsibilities:Review and validate Quality of Job Specifications in accordance with Quality Control standards to ensure accurate and timely completion of daily jobsSetup Initial Job jackets for 150 – 250 jobs, per day, for daily projectsPerform ongoing Quality checks throughout the production cycle to ensure accurate completion of live workEnsure all paperwork (orders) is accounted for, completed and logged accurately in accordance with the requirementsOversee and review insert tracking system effectiveness and accuracy to ensure all pieces are tracked, as requiredPerform "Postal Functions" as required for marking jobs complete and produce daily reports for completed workIdentify and correct inaccuracies, inconsistencies or ambiguities in the client's specifications and identify primary processing steps, or tasks, that are required to complete a projectEscalate as needed for further resolution/reportingIndividual must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.You Must Have:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects/tasks at any given time with a high sense of urgency, prioritizing and during allotted time constraintsAble to understand the customer's unique needs and be able to make and present recommendations and alternatives to the teamMust be a team player, believing there is always a better way and embrace process improvement initiativesExperienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)Strong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, organized and detail orientedMust adhere to ISO 9001:2008 policies and proceduresMust be able to work overtime as neededMust be able to walk or travel from machine to machine for 8 hours per day with two 15 minute breaksLift 20lbs repeatedly during the work shiftProlonged periods of time sitting or standing performing data entry functions.Repetative wrist motionsWe Would Also Prefer:High school education6 months in a quality oriented production environmentThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $19-21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
