Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish) - Front & Back Office-Dr K

Raincross Medical Group is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to join Dr. Kunaseelan's department . The ideal candidate will be experienced in both front and back office operations and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in a courteous, professional, and culturally sensitive manner
• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish
• Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and manage patient check-in and check-out activities
• Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and contact records
• Answer multi-line phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
• Assist with collecting co-pays, processing forms, and maintaining accurate front office records
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed during clinical procedures
• Take vital signs, record patient histories, and document information in the electronic medical record
• Support clinical workflow by preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Follow established protocols for patient privacy, safety, infection control, and confidentiality
• Coordinate referrals, lab requests, and other administrative or clinical tasks as assigned
• Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient daily operations

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare environment preferred
• Knowledge of both front office and back office medical assistant duties preferred
• Familiarity with scheduling systems, electronic medical records, and basic office technology
• Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and discretion when handling sensitive information
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent patient service
• Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training preferred
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain may be required
