This position combines technical expertise with strong management skills to maintain facility operations and drive continuous improvement.**Responsibilities:*** Lead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, training, coaching, and personal development* Oversee maintenance tasks for facility infrastructure and production equipment* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and pneumatic issues in machines and equipment* Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures* Manage engineering budget and participate in overall operating budget process* Assist in developing capital improvement plans* Select, schedule, and supervise contractors, monitoring their performance* Respond effectively to emergencies and service calls* Lead technical, safety, and operational process training programs* Participate in client-facing and property team communications* Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills* And other assigned duties**Required qualifications:*** 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or similar* People management experience (leading a team)* Universal CFC EPA certification* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)**Physical requirements:*** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 30 feet tall* Physical capability for frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving**Preferred qualifications:*** Trade school education, union training, military service, or college degree* Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments* Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and water treatment* Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices* Project management skillsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
