If you are a seasoned hotel professional who thrives on providing exceptional guest service and excels as a leader, we would love to connect with you!Job Summary:Assists the General Manager in all operations of the hotel.Essential Job Functions:Act as "Manager on Duty" and be responsible for hotel operation in the absences of the General ManagerAssist General Manager with all hotel, administrative, and human resources dutiesAnalyze and resolve work problems to achieve work-related goalsParticipate in all revenue management decisions and hold staff accountable for achieving revenue goalsEnsure all Front Desk employees are adhering to rate and credit policies and proceduresKnowledge of brand operating systemsAssist with daily credit report; review the bucket, and all A/R accountsMaintain online ordering of food, housekeeping, maintenance supplies, etc.Assist sales manager in actively selling the hotel to groups, meetings, and extended stay guestsReview discrepancy reports daily and take necessary steps to resolve and eliminate discrepanciesSet up controls (i.e. overtime, safety deposit boxes, master keys, banks, etc.) and audit them on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy and completenessKnowledge of all emergency procedures and how to act on them.Assist in ensuring staff continues to learn the importance of excellent guest service and implement training programsReport any unusual occurrences or requests to General Manager immediatelyOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
