Job Description
- Slice beef, lamb, pork, and other meats for hot pot service
- Operate a frozen meat slicing machine safely and efficiently
- Control the thickness and size of meat slices for consistent quality
- Properly trim and portion different cuts of beef and lamb
- Prepare and arrange meat platters for hot pot service
- Follow proper cutting techniques according to the grain and quality of the meat
- Prepare daily meat orders and maintain adequate inventory
- Keep the meat preparation area, knives, slicer, and equipment clean and sanitary
- Follow food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
- Work efficiently during busy restaurant hours
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
