Physical Therapist

Mainly working in a skilled nursing facility. Will also be trained to float to an inpatient acute care hospital. Candidates will be treating 8-9 patients per day in a post-acute setting. Common diagnoses include total joint replacements, strokes, deconditioning, pneumonia, and balance difficulties associated with general medical conditions. Patient population typically includes geriatric patients with chronic conditions and orthopedic or neurological cases. Candidates should have experience in either acute care or skilled nursing, preferably skilled nursing experience. Floor-specific orientation will be provided. No weekend requirements. No holidays required. Charting will be done using Cerner. Candidates may be required to cover designated areas. Client can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, and 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.
