BayCare is currently in search of our newest Clinical Coordinator MA who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.
Status: Full Time
Shift Days/Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:45am AM – 5:15 PM (May Vary)
Location: St.Anthonys Primary Care Baywalk
Weekend Work: None
On Call: No

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinical operations.
- Assist Site Manager and physicians with the successful operations of the clinical staff, procedures and treatment
- Support the physician's office health care team
- Answer phones
- Screen patient's chart prior to appointment
- Interview patients and prepare them for examinations and other procedures
- Assist the physician during the exam
- Administer injections
- Perform any necessary lab work or testing
- Follow up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient
- Provides patient education
- Maintain medical equipment and take inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Required Certification or Licensure includes RMA (Registered Medical Assistant, CMA (Medical Assistant), EMT or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician), or Paramedic
- Required High School or Equivalent
- Required 3 years Medical Assistant experience
