In this key on-site position, you will serve as an essential operational backstop by handling confidential patient and prescription records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Operating standard business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), you will open and organize incoming correspondence, enter receipts and documentation into internal accounting systems, and ensure meticulous record-keeping. This is a non-call center support role focused purely on accurate data entry, document processing, and independent task completion. Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Process confidential prescription and patient records, perform accurate data entry in internal systems, and organize incoming mail and correspondence following HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open, organize, and triage daily incoming postal mail and administrative correspondence.

• Execute accurate alpha-numeric data entry into internal accounting and disclosure applications.

• Enter receipts, documentation, and record details into proprietary databases.

• Maintain complete and confidential patient account files in strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Prioritize daily tasks independently to meet quality, accuracy, and operational deadlines.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum 1 year of customer service, administrative, or data entry experience (healthcare or insurance environment preferred).

• Proven alpha-numeric data entry speed with high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Reliable transportation and full availability to work on-site 5 days a week in Cumberland, RI.
