Ability to read and write at a level necessary to fulfill documentation requirements.Description: The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting nursing personnel in providing care to residents within the scope of certification and training. This role requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the organization's mission and values. The associate is expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values and support the goals and direction of the quality improvement process. The position involves physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and other related functions. Lifting objects over 100 lbs. and frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. is required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Providing all activities of daily living (ADL) care to patients, including personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and ambulation. Delivering care according to each patient's individual care plan. Providing care in a manner that respects the resident's dignity and privacy. Offering choices with care and encouraging patients to maintain independence whenever possible. Adhering to residents' rights during care and communication. Responding promptly to call lights. Communicating changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff in a timely manner. Documenting and charting as required by policies and procedures. Interacting with the interdisciplinary team to communicate resident preferences and needs. Maintaining cleanliness of wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment. Reporting any non-working or unsafe equipment or facility fixtures.
