- Safely operate a Step Van or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries, adapting as necessary to traffic or weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in logistics or distribution environments.
- Experience in commercial driving, specifically with box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving efficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
