Workday Solutions Architect - Talent Management and AI

Gilead Sciences seeks a Workday Solutions Architect to design and govern talent, performance, skills, and AI capabilities within Workday. This senior individual contributor role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions while establishing governance frameworks for AI-enabled HR experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Workday solution architecture for talent, performance, skills, and recruiting with reusable standards
- Define target architecture and roadmap for skills implementation including taxonomy, governance, and data quality
- Lead end-to-end discovery and business process design workshops translating requirements into functional designs
- Establish enterprise governance model for Workday AI and agentic solutions with oversight and auditability controls
- Guide Workday semiannual release assessments and develop adoption roadmaps based on business outcomes and feasibility
Requirements
- 8+ years hands-on Workday experience across multiple HCM modules
- Deep expertise in Workday Talent, Performance, goals, feedback, reviews, and calibration
- 8+ years professional experience with BS/BA, or 6+ years with MS/MA/MBA
- Experience designing and implementing skills taxonomy and governance frameworks
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI controls, and enterprise architecture patterns
- Proven ability to lead discovery workshops and translate complex business requirements into technical designs
- Strong experience with Workday integrations, security, and data architecture
