Project Finance Associate / Senior Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate or Senior Associate for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in project finance, with a focus on debt project finance and/or tax equity transactions. Duties Prepare, review, and negotiate credit agreements and intercreditor arrangements. Draft collateral documents and other ancillary financing documents. Handle equity capital contribution agreements and membership interest purchase agreements. Conduct due diligence on key project agreements, including joint venture agreements and EPC contracts. Collaborate on renewable energy project financings and tax equity investments. Requirements 4+ years of transactional experience in project finance. Experience with debt project finance and/or tax equity transactions. Proficiency in reviewing and negotiating complex financial documents. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New York. Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
