Overview

This HAZMAT Customer Service Representative is responsible for warehouse management tasks such as receiving, stowage, receipt processing and HAZMAT program support.

Security Requirement:

• Active Secret clearance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory control, sustainment, replenishment and issue of NSW hazardous material (HAZMAT) line items.
• Provide customer service support for the HAZMAT program to include activities such as fulfilling customer requests, stowage and compatibility considerations, provide necessary documentation to support procurement, and all disposal/disposition of HAZMAT activities.
• Research and gather all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of HAZMAT program.
• Maintain and inspect all HAZMAT spaces and keep them within Navy standards for inspections.

Requirements:

• Maintain forklift license up to 10,000lb capacity.
• Complete and maintain HAZMAT required training through 
• Environmental Compliance Assessment, Training and Tracking System (ECATTS).
• Minimum five years’ warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
• Minimum one year experience managing HAZMAT.
• Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles/CESE for use in their official duties.
