- Performing in-depth patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and crafting tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in partnership with physician teams or independently based on privileges
- Informing patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness initiatives, and effective disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies as per your authorized scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing ongoing care
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Maintaining thorough and precise documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kansas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a related specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment paired with a caring approach
- Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and clinical colleagues
- Ability to adapt in rapid, patient-centric settings
- Competence in EHR systems and confidence in utilizing telehealth tools
