Quick Facts Location: Boston, MA (55 Fruit Street) Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Shift: Day shifts, 3x13-hour shifts/week (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Hours/Week: 39 hours Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: MA license, BC in Neurosurgery required Experience: Minimum 1 year neuro experience Procedures: Inpatient neurosurgery care, rounding, discharge planning, drain removal preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $129.98/hr Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable Licensure, certification, travel costs reimbursed if required What You’ll Do Conduct patient rounds with residents on neurosurgery acute care units Review patient plans and update orders Manage inpatient neurosurgery cases, including discharge planning Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care Perform drain removals (hemovac/J-P drains) preferred Document and update patient records accurately in Epic EMR Assist in managing patients' neurological recovery and post-op care, emphasizing inpatient care in a hospital setting What You Need Current MA license Board Certified (BC) in Neurosurgery Minimum 1-year recent neuro patient care experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong clinical skills in neurosurgical patient management Excellent communication and documentation skills About the Assignment This role is with a reputable hospital specializing in inpatient neurosurgical care in Boston.
