Contract | Mid Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (self-scheduling available: 9–9, 11–11, 1–1, 3–3) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 80–90 patients per day with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage and monitor ER hold patients intermixed within the emergency department
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythms independently; no monitor technicians on unit
• Participate in triage on an occasional basis within a designated triage area
• Collaborate with ED physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse aides, paramedics, and patient sitters
• Float to other units as qualified when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Current TNCC certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Proficiency with ECG rhythm interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Paragon EMR
• Familiarity with trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac patient populations
• Experience working in a fast track or high-acuity emergency department environment
