Registered DieticianDenver, COAbout The Role:This role will be key in supporting our multidisciplinary healthcare team in delivering the "dietitian in the family" approach to engaging our members. We are looking for an experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide personalized nutrition counseling and support for members participating in our disease management programs, such as obesity and diabetes. You will engage with our members in a caring, empathetic manner through 1:1 consultations, helping them achieve sustainable weight management and healthy lifestyle changes as they navigate their chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will develop educational content to support a healthy lifestyle and deliver virtual, evidence-based nutrition care and lifestyle counseling from a telehealth contact center environment, with excellent communication skills when interacting with members via phone, chat, and Rightway's App. A willingness to go the extra mile to provide outstanding nutrition care is essential to this role.What You'll Do:Conduct initial and follow-up nutrition counseling sessions with members, providing personalized nutrition plans and lifestyle recommendations to support a healthy weightDeliver care through phone, chat, and/or video visits as part of Rightway's Care Complete programs.Track weight loss progress, assess nutritional needs and lifestyle behaviors, and set/monitor health and nutrition goals during initial and follow-up consults.Develop strategies to help members manage GI side effects related to weight loss medications and prevent malnutrition during appetite suppressionCollaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and optimize the care process for patients on weight loss medicationsDocument patient progress, nutritional assessments, and care plans.Stay current with evidence-based research on weight loss medications, nutrition science, and weight management strategies.Who You Are:Active credentialing as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and/or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LD/N)Additional licenses in the red states are highly desirableBachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Master's preferred)Minimum 2 years of professional experience in dietetics, with demonstrated expertise in weight managementExperience with motivational interviewing and health behavior change techniquesKnowledge of weight loss medications and their impact on nutrition and weight managementEffective communicator who builds rapport and maintains a patient-centric, empathetic, motivational approach that supports long-term engagement and behavior changeAbility to translate complex nutritional science into practical, actionable recommendations for patients through various mediums (phone, chat, email, etc).Comfort working in a fast-paced, virtual contact center with back-to-back scheduled and ad-hoc interactions with members.Accurately and promptly document member interaction, including but not limited to consultation and intervention notes, nursing care plan, and assessments.Maintain a patient-centric, empathetic, and motivational approach that supports long-term engagement and positive behavior change.Protect member privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance at all timesA private, interruption-free workspace where you can complete your job duties and consultationsUtilize provided technology effectively, including communication platforms, clinical software, and remote monitoring tools.Support organizational goals for member satisfaction, clinical quality, and operational efficiency.Reliable, flexible availability to work assigned shifts (including rotating holidays for member coverage), adjust hours as needed during surge or emergency periods, and maintain consistent attendance to support service levels and member access.Compensation: $34.00 - $40.86 /hrCybersecurity Awareness NoticeIn response to ongoing and industry-wide fraudulent recruitment activities (i.e., job scams), Rightway wants to inform potential candidates that we will only contact them from the @ rightwayhealthcare.com email domain.
