Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role begins on August 3, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027. Ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners, you will support students’ academic and functional growth during the school year.

In this role, you’ll most likely manage a caseload of elementary-aged students (Pre-K through 5th grade), working across general education, special education, and self-contained adaptive classrooms, including students with autism. Flexibility and adaptability will be key, as student needs may range and evolve throughout the assignment.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for school-based practice
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for supporting diverse learners, including those in special and self-contained programs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt and modify interventions to a variety of student needs and ages

Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing student abilities and developing individualized treatment plans
• Delivering direct therapy services, both individually and in group sessions, as required by IEPs
• Collaborating with special education and general education staff to support classroom participation
• Consulting with teachers and families to promote generalization of skills throughout the school environment
• Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation on student progress
