Job Description As a Security Officer - Housing Complex , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and applicable security-related policies at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, maintenance‑related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require follow‑up. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe for policy violations, and document security‑related events in accordance with post procedures. Prepare clear written reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and/or customer service interactions with appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
