Medical Assistant for Dermatology

Job Description

Avery Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant with Dermatology experience. If you have cosmetic derm experience, please apply!

Position is full time. Hours are 7am-5pm., 4, 10 hour shifts

Job Duties are:

Prepare patients for exams
Set up and assist provider with for all medical procedures
Update medical history, take vitals
Assist with biopsies, surgeries and cosmetic procedures
Call patients with results
E-scribing prescriptions
Handle prior authorizations
Knowledge of sterile technique and wound care
Instrument cleaning/sterilization care
Document visit
schedule appointments
stock rooms with supplies
general housekeeping duties
EMR exp. They have Nextech
handle high patient volume and fast pace (around 50 patients every day)
