The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. • Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Preferred:• Experience with SGML or XML authoring tools and PDF publishing tools; knowledge of structured authoring (typical SGML, XML DTDs/schema, elements and attributes etc.) environment.• General understanding of S1000D, common source database, ATA Spec and technical publications development processes.• Experience with the Big data technology using Hadoop, HBase, Map Reduce and other Hadoop eco-system and or other NoSQL databases.• Experience working with Apache Solr search technology would be a plus.• Experience with enterprise content management systems would be a plus.• Experience with cloud technology would be a plus.QualificationsQualifications Basic:• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent but should be from an accredited Institution/University. • Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology Industry.Additional Information** U.S. citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encourage to apply.
