We are seeking an experienced structured cabling technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage cabling, including the installation, termination, and testing of both copper and fiber optic cables.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans and wiring schematics
- Complete knowledge and ability to install low voltage cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, fiber optics and other related infrastructure
- Proficient in cable terminations, labeling, and testing using appropriate tools and equipment
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network cabling
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work on a team and alone
- Must have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle as our work is all over the Charlotte area and there are times when you will hit multiple jobsites in one day

- Access Control Systems experience
- Sound Masking Systems experience
- Security Systems experience
- OSHA 10 and or 30
- CPR Certification
- Manufacturer's training or certifications
