Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients
• Manage critical patient conditions effectively in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Administer medications including drips like Heparin and Insulin
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and intensivists
• Document patient information accurately using EMR: EPIC
• Participate in department orientation and complete educational modules

Requirements of the RN - ED

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) competency
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an ED RN
• Proficiency in emergency room nursing and Level 1 Trauma care
