Guest Experience & Events Manager

Guest Experience & Events Manager oversees daily restaurant operations while coordinating private events, catering services, and special functions. This position combines restaurant management, administrative support, customer service, staff supervision, and event planning responsibilities to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed.
• Monitor staffing levels
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house teams during peak service periods.
• Address guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Event & Catering Coordination

• Plan and coordinate catering events, banquets, private parties, and corporate functions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients.
• Prepare event proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate menus, staffing, timelines, and logistics for events.
• Ensure successful execution of on-site and off-site catering functions.
• Conduct event follow-up and maintain client relationships to encourage repeat business.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Manage emails, event calendars and restaurant reservations.
• Maintain records, invoices, contracts, and guest data.
• Prepare operational and event-related reports.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and service agreements.
• Support marketing initiatives, social media promotions, and community outreach events.

Team Leadership

• Train, coach, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees.
• Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management or hospitality experience.
• Experience coordinating catering events, banquets, or private functions.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience with scheduling, POS systems, and event planning software.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
