Waste Management SpecialistHandling and managing of waste inspectionsClerical workShredding and filing of documentsAbility to implement corrective action plansCreate, maintain and track monthly training topics and presentations for General meetings, and weekly OMC.Administer safety portion of orientation weekly.Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.Compile agenda for monthly safety committee meetings.Investigate all work-related injuries and report details to appropriate internal and external partiesReview company policies and procedures annually.Updating and monitoring audits and reports in controlled system. Track internal audits and countermeasures and report to EHS Manager.Perform weekly inventory of chemical drums and update tracking.Monitor, investigate and report daily safety incidents and accidents.Maintain AAA program and assign work orders for completion of safety submissions.Update personnel files with safety documents. Create safety training in Learning Management system.Work with onsite security to maintain contractor compliance of records and training. Confirm safety and compliance of standards are met in manufacturing environment.RequirementsAbility to follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and complete work records.Ability to maintain clean and safe work environment.Scanning, shredding, and filing of documentationCapable of performing all computer functions necessary to process orders in a correct and timely manner.Able to follow attendance policy.Capable of OJT trainingAble to follow work standardsNo active safety violations or counseling's on fileComputer experience a plus
