Description- Located in a regional area with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence three days a week.
- Contract position with a focus on data engineering and metadata management.
- Responsible for bridging business language and database structures using generic technology tools.
- Involves deep data analysis and SQL work.
- Collaborates with architects and engineers to ensure accurate data mappings.
- Engages in testing and validation of SQL queries and data mappings.
- Requires strong analytical skills and experience with database management systems.
- Review and define business terms and concepts from various documents.
- Analyze data structures to support business terminology.
- Create precise mappings from business terms to database structures.
- Support the development of a semantic layer for data interpretation.
- Test and validate SQL queries against expected data structures.
- 4 years of experience in data engineering, metadata management, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with database metadata.
- Strong skills in SQL and intermediate programming abilities.
- Experience with business documentation and data dictionaries.
- Familiarity with natural language processing and semantic modeling.
