Healthcare Consulting Manager - Supply Chain

This Manager role is focused on leading performance improvement projects, streamlining supply‑chain processes, and mentoring junior team members to deliver measurable results to our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead initiatives to streamline procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes, ensuring cost‑effective and timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment. Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement in supply‑chain operations, enhancing overall efficiency and reducing costs. Plan and manage complex multi‑workstream performance improvement projects or multiple concurrent client engagements, delegating and overseeing the work of junior team members. Synthesize complex data sets and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and trends to implement recommendations that result in measurable performance improvement and organizational change. Communicate effectively, setting clear project team direction, developing key deliverables, escalating risks, and influencing stakeholders including clients and senior leadership. Collaborate with team members and client counterparts to understand business challenges, adapt implementation methodologies, and ensure results align with client objectives. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for junior staff. Maintain adherence to practice utilization standards, complete all assigned courses and compliance trainings. Required Skills Leadership and project coordination experience. Data analytics proficiency with a focus on supply‑chain optimization. Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders. Experience building, training, supervising, coaching, and providing performance feedback. Core Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Ability to travel as needed; average annual travel Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience training and developing staff in project management and technical domains. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Direct supervisory experience. Experience working in a matrixed organization. 6–8 years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience. Flexibility across industry segments. U.S. work authorization required. Preferred Experience Hospital operations experience directing a department or team‑based projects focused on process re‑engineering, performance improvement, and change management. Project leadership and work‑plan management within a consulting firm focused on cost of care, workforce management, and/or supply‑chain services. Experience in cost and expense management within administrative and corporate functions. Expertise in managing cost structures and improving workflows in post‑acute settings (e.g., SNF, long‑term care, home health, rehab) – not required. Clinical leadership experience across multiple care settings emphasizing care delivery optimization, workforce planning, and digital strategy. Compensation and Benefits Estimated base salary: $145,000 - $185,000. Total compensation (including incentive) ranges from $166,750 - $231,250.
