This 532-bed inpatient hospital is a specialized facility operating a GME teaching program and maintaining clinical services that include STEMI, Stroke, transplant cellular therapy, and a complex cardiac center. The facility carries a hospitalist census of approximately 370, with hospitalists managing roughly 75% of the total census, and is supported by intensivists, a consulting physician, and a full complement of subspecialty services. Emergency privileges may be available, and clinicians must be matched to the Hospital Medicine position prior to commencing the assignment.

Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on an on-site basis, following a 7 on/7 off schedule with no call responsibilities outside of assigned shift hours. Responsibilities include rounding on 20-22 adult patients per shift within a 532-bed facility that carries a hospitalist census of approximately 370, encompassing ICU rounding, STEMI, Stroke, transplant cellular therapy, and complex cardiac cases; no trauma cases are included. A consulting physician is available on-site and sees 12-20 consults per day, and intensivists manage ICU patients, with no procedures required of the hospitalist.
