Job Information:

Position : Speech Language Pathologist - Part-Time
Location : Multi-Assigned, Department of Exceptional Student Services
Work Year : 175 Days, 151 Student Contact Days
Specialists must participate in New Teacher Orientation as a condition of employment
Salary Range : $65,946-$118,516 ($65,946-$80,966 for external candidates dependent on experience and education)
FLSA Classification: Exempt

Job Summary:

The Speech/Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. They apply principles, methods and procedures for an analysis of speech and language comprehension and production to determine communicative competencies. Provide intervention strategies and services related to speech and language development and literacy development as well as disorders of language, voice, articulation and fluency and functional communication that adversely affect an individual's educational performance.
