CT Technologist - CT Technologist
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted as long as they have trauma experience
• Work with a team of 3 total CT Techs per shift
• Radiologist on site reading during the day and offsite reading at night
• Typically see young adults to geriatric patients including general CT, strokes, and oncology patients
• Average daily census of approximately 100 patients
• Charting system: EPIC EMR
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• PACS system: McKesson
• Unit equipment: Cannon 80 Slice and GE 40 Slice CT scanners
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, Wisconsin License
• No floating required
• Orientation includes NEO and 2-3 shifts of orientation in department
• Weekend rotation dependent on requisition
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday work required if shift falls on regularly scheduled days
• Schedule managed by Lead Tech
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional - no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available in designated employee areas

This facility is a 228-bed teaching hospital located in Milwaukee, WI, designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. The CT department operates 2 CT suites and is supported by a transporter, Lead Tech, on-site Radiologist during the day, Rapid Response and Code Team, and Respiratory Therapy available 24/7. The facility provides a community hospital setting that sees a wide variety of patient cases and conditions.
