Now Hiring: Interventional Radiologist (Physician)
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Start Date: May 10, 2026 (ASAP)
Contract: Ongoing (until permanent hire)
️ Position Type: Full-Time Locum

Position Highlights
  • Focus on Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
  • Work in a well-equipped medical center setting
  • Immediate need for backfill coverage
  • Additional bonus for completion of onboarding modules
  • Consistent procedural volume for hands-on practice
Schedule & Call
  • Monday Friday
  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Evening call coverage required
  • Flexible scheduling structure
Clinical Scope (IR Procedures)
  • Arteriograms
  • CT-guided & fluoro-guided biopsies
  • Ablations & embolization
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Gastrostomy tube placement
  • PleurX catheter insertion
  • Nephrostomy tube placement
  • Port placements
  • Tunneled & non-tunneled catheters
  • Dialysis graft declots
  • Biliary drainage procedures
Requirements
  • Physician (MD/DO)
  • Fellowship in Interventional Radiology required
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years)
  • Active South Carolina license required
  • Comfortable with a wide range of IR procedures
