Integration Engineer

Integration Engineer | Location: Pawtucket, RI | Contract | Hourly Pay Range: $50-$65

Our client in Pawtucket, RI, is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to support their transition to a domain-driven microservices architecture. This role involves overhauling existing technology stacks and accelerating the adoption of new application integrations within a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate internal applications to API platforms for content consumption, developing new RESTful endpoints to expose datasets.
• Model product data sets and plan migration strategies from legacy data queries to API calls.
• Collaborate with cross-domain engineering teams to facilitate API adoption and integration efforts.
• Partner with product and business teams to create new document templates and data integrations for document generation.
• Facilitate the deployment and release of new API endpoints, application integrations, and document templates.
• Conduct comprehensive unit and integration testing to ensure seamless application performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize code for speed and efficiency.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities.
• Support team members and clients in debugging, error resolution, and maintaining smooth system operations.
• Report project status, escalate major issues, and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience working with API frameworks and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in .NET (ASP.NET), .NET Framework, VB, C#, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with cloud services, containerized applications, and desktop WinForm applications.
• Familiarity with Formstack's Document Stack and Data Merge API.
• Strong understanding of source control best practices, with experience using tools like GIT.
• Background in testing and a documentation-driven approach.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (W-2).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API security and vulnerability mitigation.
• Prior involvement in document generation platforms or similar integration projects.
