We are currently in search of a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Kansas City, Kansas.

Schedule

Day shifts, 10 hours long, Monday through Friday

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology with scrub experience is mandatory

Preferred Experience

• 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Experience in large healthcare facilities
• Familiarity with peripheral and neurovascular procedures

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• ARRT Radiography certification is required
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (application can be submitted once an offer is made; starting with a pending KS license is acceptable)

Floating Requirements

May be required to float to Bell IR

On-Call Requirements

On-call duties may be required from 5 PM to 9 PM, potentially once a week based on rotation and necessity

Holiday Requirements

• Working on holidays is not mandatory
• If a holiday coincides with a scheduled workday, the following pay period will reflect a reduction in holiday pay hours

Orientation

• Orientation sessions are held every Monday and Tuesday
• All credentials must be submitted one week prior to the start date on Monday

Utilizing Siemens Systems: Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee (Single-plane, no biplane capability)

Unit Information

• Emphasis on teamwork
• Work environment is slower-paced
• Primarily handles neuro cases and light body procedures (e.g., drains, lines, GT tubes)
• Operates 4 rooms, averaging 7-8 light neuro cases and 2 IR cases daily
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Bi-weekly payment schedule
• 8-hour non-billable orientation
• Client permits 2 cancellations per month with a minimum of 2 hours' notice
