Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System.

Additional Details:

You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - First-time travelers not accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Critical Care Course preferred. - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Cares for stroke, cardiac, sepsis, vascular, cardiothoracic, trauma, burn, and medical patients. - Uses CRRT, IABP, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call. - Holidays as required. - Maximum 5 days RTO.

Floating Requirements: - Float pool position; travelers will be required to float to ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU as needed.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
