Materials Handler
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Materials Handler to join a busy warehouse team in Arvin, California. This on-site role supports order fulfillment, assembly, shipping/receiving, and general warehouse operations.
Shift: 7AM-330PM
Pay: $17.50/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
- Assist with assembly, cycle counts, and quality checks
- Support shipping/receiving and move pallets using pallet jacks (occasional forklift)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow company safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet warehouse goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 1+ year warehouse/manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts
- Basic computer and math skills
Preferred:
- Spanish-English bilingual
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse, temperature variations possible
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
