Job Purpose: As a Systems Engineer II, you will be responsible for ensuring overall form, fit, and function of new vehicle electrical/electronic/software systems into a single complete harvesting system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing system engineering best practices.
• Define and maintain product level feature specifications, system layout, and documentation.
• Work closely with architectural team to ensure maximum component scalability and modularity.
• Understand intended product end user needs.
• Assist in defining product vision and roadmap.
• Define system level features and decompose those requirements into individual subsystem definitions and requirements.
• Work across multiple engineering disciplines and development teams to coordinate system definition, design, and integration.
• Coordinate with software development teams for implementation.
• Oversee integration of software onto the vehicle to ensure compliance to functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues found during vehicle testing.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues which may include controller software, hardware I/O, wire harnessing, and mechanical subsystems.
• Conduct design analysis on components, vehicle systems and/or software architectures to verify new Requirements/Specifications can be achieved.
• This can include investigating HW I/O, wire harnessing, controller software and mechanical subsystems.
• Define resource requirements, schedule to meet project objectives, as well as participation in design reviews, Safety Analysis and DFMEAs
• Prepare technical documentation and data analysis.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, Hazard and Risk Assessments.
• Collaborate to develop automated testing for assigned systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

• B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical with Controls experience to include exposure or experience, through coursework, related to Embedded Electronic Systems and Controls
• 1-3 years of experience in embedded systems development
• Experience in off highway automation and/or autonomy.
• Strong experience with off highway vehicle electronics.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and experience
• Understanding of programming languages
• Ability to learn & interpret vehicle networking protocols
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership staff
• Has intermediate knowledge and skills in the engineering discipline.

Pay Transparency: The annual salary for this role is $86,625 - $132,825 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
