Digital Marketing Manager

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Digital Marketing Manager for an established law firm serving clients throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity based onsite in Silver Spring, Maryland, offering the chance to lead digital advertising, search engine optimization, and online lead generation initiatives for a respected legal services organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the firm's digital marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), website performance, and lead generation. This hands-on position will manage paid advertising campaigns, analyze marketing performance, optimize digital platforms, and implement strategies to increase qualified leads and maximize return on investment. The ideal candidate is a results-driven digital marketing professional with advanced PPC expertise, strong technical and analytical capabilities, and a passion for driving measurable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, manage, and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms, leveraging value-based bidding, geographic targeting, conversion tracking, keyword strategies, and A/B testing to maximize lead generation and ROI.
• Oversee website analytics and lead tracking through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and related platforms, evaluating campaign performance, conversion rates, and marketing effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead SEO and website management initiatives, including technical SEO audits, keyword research, backlink analysis, page speed optimization, content updates, domain management, and overall website functionality.
• Manage the firm's online reputation by monitoring reviews, identifying concerns requiring management attention, and coordinating appropriate responses or removal requests when platform policies are violated.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure digital advertising and website content comply with applicable state bar regulations and legal advertising standards.
• Support marketing technology integrations, including CRM connectivity, API integrations, custom webhooks, tracking scripts, and AI-powered marketing tools to improve lead capture, campaign personalization, and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated expertise managing PPC advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, value-based bidding, conversion tracking, geographic targeting, keyword optimization, and performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and web analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog, with the ability to identify and resolve technical website issues.
• Experience managing website content, optimizing site performance, and utilizing foundational HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript knowledge to support website updates and implement tracking technologies.
• Familiarity with CRM integrations, API connectivity, custom webhooks, AI-powered marketing platforms, and A/B testing to enhance campaign effectiveness and lead management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to independently manage digital marketing initiatives and deliver measurable results; prior law firm marketing experience is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:


This position offers a targeted annual salary of $100,000 , with final compensation negotiable based on knowledge, skills, and experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health and dental insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.


This is a full-time, onsite position in Silver Spring, Maryland, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
